Punjabi rom-com Puaada to have digital premiere on Zee5

The Punjabi feature film Puaada, starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, will have its digital premiere on Zee5 on 17 September. The poster of the announcement was shared on Instagram.

Directed by Rupinder Singh Chahal, Puaada was the first big film to be released in cinemas on 12 August, after the second lockdown. The film saw strong box-office numbers on the opening weekend and continued to have a good run in theatres.

A romantic film filled with funny, chaotic incidents, the film features a stellar supporting cast comprising Hardeep Gill, Anita Devgan, Sukhwinder Chahal and Seema Kaushal, among others.

Speaking about the digital premiere, Manish Kalra, chief business officer, Zee5 India, said, "We are looking forward to the premiere of the theatrical blockbuster Puaada on Zee5.
