Aakash Prabhakar's Freddie's Piano released on Neestream

Aakash Prabhakar's critically acclaimed movie Freddie's Piano has finally found an OTT release. The film is being streamed on Neestream from Thursday 16 September.
Shot in English, this slice-of-life film is about two half-brothers, Aden and Freddie, and their deep concern for each other after their parents die in an accident.
Freddie's Piano is written and directed by first-time filmmaker Aakash Prabhakar, a Mumbai-based stage and film actor. It won him the Best Director award at the Indian Film Festival of Cincinnati. It also won awards for Best Children's Feature Film and Best International Feature Film at the Indo-French International Film Festival 2021.
Besides helming the project, Prabhakar plays the role of Aden in the movie. Freddie's role is played by Pranav Mylarassu, a student of AR Rahman’s Music Conservatory in Chennai.
Apart from these two, the film features Mathivanan Rajendran, Drishya Gautham, Leela Samson, Mekha Rajan and Anirudh in supporting roles.
Sandeep K Vijaykumar has shot the film while Ashwin Arvind has edited it. Prashanth Srinivas has composed the music.
Freddie's Piano has been produced by Prabhakar, Lisa Kovvuri, Somasekhar Kovvuri and Mathivanan Rajendran.
