Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, Shiddat stars Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty.

Emerging composer Manan Bhardwaj has made his debut as a singer with Kunal Deshmukh’s upcoming romantic drama Shiddat, starring Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty.

Bhardwaj has composed, written and sung the melancholic yet passionately romantic title track of the film.

“I couldn’t possibly have asked for anything more,” said the young composer who is currently occupied with other projects too. “My thanks to Bhushan Kumar sir and the T-Series team because of whom I am where I am today. These songs were like an exam for me. Now I am anxiously waiting for the results.”

Bhardwaj made his debut as a music director with the Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam, which is slated for release on 14 January 2022. Also starring Pooja Hegde, the film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The composer first earned a reputation with his single 'Teri Aankhon Mein', which got millions of views on YouTube. One of his upcoming projects is Hit: The First Case, the Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name, which stars Rajkummar Rao as an investigating officer on the trail of a missing woman. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the action-thriller also features Sanya Malhotra. The film is currently in pre-production.

Shiddat will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from 1 October. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch this movie.
