Fardeen Khan is returning to cinema after an eleven-year gap with Sanjay Gupta’s Visfot; the actor will be reunited with his Heyy Babyy (2007) co-star Riteish Deshmukh.

Khan was last seen on the big screen in Dulha Mil Gaya (2010), which also featured Sushmita Sen and Shah Rukh Khan.

Visfot, produced by Gupta, is an official remake of the Venezuelan film Rock, Paper, Scissors (2012). The Venezuelan film Piedra, Papel O Tijera had been selected as the official entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards but was not nominated.

Directed by Hernan Jabes, the drama followed how the child’s game turns into a betrayal which reverberates on to the fates of two families.

Gupta is working with Khan and Deshmukh for the first time. The co-stars are reuniting on screen after 14 years.

Visfot is expected to be shot in Mumbai in the coming weeks.
