The trailer for the Naga Chaitanya- and Sai Pallavi-starrer Love Story was unveiled today. Going by the visuals, the film, directed by Sekhar Kammula, touches upon common issues faced by middle-class youth.
Set against a Telangana backdrop, the trailer reveals that both Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi play characters that speak in the Telangana accent.

The trailer opens with a shot of Naga Chaitanya teaching Zumba to a group of people. Cut to the next shot, we are shown that he hasn’t paid his house rent for the past two months. The trailer then introduces us to Sai Pallavi, who has only faced rejection at every job interview.
There is also a shot where Naga Chaitanya's character is trying to get a bank loan to start something on his own. He is told the maximum amount he can get as loan is Rs50,000.
Eswari Rao plays Naga Chaitanya’s mother. Through a dialogue with her, it is learnt that he is trying to start a busines, but he has only been told so far that he is unfit to run one.
The trailer later shows Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi bond over dance, a talent both share. It is also evident from the trailer that there is a lot of resistance from the families of both characters to their love.
Love Story is gearing up for release in cinemas on 24 September. The film also stars Devyani, Rajeev Kanakala, Rao Ramesh and Uttej. The single 'Saranga Dariya' from the movie has become one of the more popular Telugu songs in recent times.
