Shiddat trailer: Radhika Madan, Sunny Kaushal star in a tale of unfinished love

Kunal Deshmukh’s Shiddat (2021) focuses on the love stories of two couples, one consisting of Juggi (Sunny Kaushal) and Karthika (Radhika Madan), the other of characters played by Mohit Raina and Diana Penty.

For the first couple, it is love at first sight for Juggi. He obsessively pursues Karthika, telling her he is in love with her, but she brushes off his declaration as she is already engaged. They have an intense fling, one that neither can get over.

Mohit Raina and Diana Penty play a married couple, but the reason for their discord is only hinted at, not disclosed yet. Raina is seen helping out Juggi at one point, almost as a counsellor, and later swimming in the ocean, without much thought, before narrowly avoiding a massive ship.

The trailer sets up the parallel tales of unfinished love with seemingly unhappy characters. The screenplay by Sridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan has laid out several twists and turns to endure as the characters navigate life.
