Anshuman Pratyush’s upcoming film Baazi, starring Jeet and Mimi Chakraborty, will be released on 10 October, during the Puja.

The shooting for the film, an official remake of the Telugu film Nannaku Prematho (2016) starring Jr NTR and Rakul Preet Singh, was wrapped up in October 2020.

Jeet took to Twitter on Friday to make the announcement on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, with a poster featuring himself in his superstar avatar, with a red car in the background in the streets of London.

The film was initially supposed to be released on 14 May this year, but it had to be postponed as the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic struck the state. The teaser for the film was released in February.

In this revenge story, entrepreneur Rudra Pratap is duped by a con man. As he suffers from a terminal illness, his son Vikram (Jeet) decides to seek revenge and ensure that his father lives longer. Vikram travels to London for the purpose and befriends Kyra (Chakraborty), daughter of the fraudster.

The film also features Abhishek Chatterjee, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Biswanath Basu in crucial roles. Jeet Gannguli has composed the songs for the film while Anbu Selvan has done the background score.
