Ritika Shrotri, Vinayak Mali team up in new comedy, Mad

Ritika Shrotri and Vinayak Mali are set to team up for another entertaining comedy, Mad.

Directed by Nikhil V Khajindaar, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2022.

The actress shared a clip on social media, also revealing that the film will be ready for a theatrical release next year.

The motion poster for the film does not reveal much but captures a sense of the comedy and vivacity which might be part of the film.

As the peppy music slows down, one can hear the sound of crickets. This, combined with the sight of a window with a rope hanging out, offers a peek at what the love story might involve.

The film is written by Sameer Asha Patil and produced by Kathakar Motion Pictures. The latter had backed Shrotri's previous film, Darling (2021). This is the actress's third film since Takatak (2019).

She will be joined by Vinayak Mali in the lead. The film marks the cinematic debut of the YouTuber, who has become popular for his comedy skits on the platform.
