Veteran actress Saira Banu has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Hinduja hospital, Khar.
The wife of the late screen legend Dilip Kumar was admitted three days ago with low blood pressure. A family friend confirmed the news to the ANI news agency.

Dilip Kumar, who had been keeping poor health for the past few years, died aged 98 on 7 July this year. Saira Banu was by his side through his final years, ensuring that the actor, arguably India's greatest, received love and the best of care till the very end. Dilip Kumar was mostly bedridden in his final years.
A Press Trust of India report quoted an unnamed hospital official confirming Saira Banu's admission. The source said, "She is fine and much better now. There is nothing to worry about."
Saira Banu, 77, made a smashing debut as a gorgeous teenager in Junglee (1961) opposite Shammi Kapoor and went on to act in some iconic films like Bluffmaster (1963), Padosan (1968), Purab Aur Pachhim (1970) and Victoria No 203 (1972). She and Dilip Kumar were married in 1966.
