The first promo of the fifth season of the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil has been unveiled. The upcoming season marks the return of veteran actor Kamal Haasan as host for the fifth time in a row. The promo video sees Kamal asking viewers if the show can get started.
While the promo doesn’t reveal the airing date, according to the industry grapevine, it will be premiered during the first week of October.

In the promo video, Kamal is in a golden blazer and blue jeans.
The fourth season of show saw actor Aari Arjunan winning the coveted title. The list of participants of the upcoming show is yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Kamal, who is currently shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram, has confirmed in a media interaction that he’s writing a script for Maalik director Mahesh Narayanan. However, he did not reveal anything about the nature of the project or the cast and crew.
