Prabhas to collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his 25th film, Spirit

Putting an end to the speculation of the past few days, Prabhas has joined hands with Kabir Singh (2019) director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his 25th film titled Spirit.

Prabhas took to Twitter today to announce the project.

The landmark project is backed by T-Series Entertainment in association with UV Creations and Bhadrakali Pictures. The other details of the film have been kept under wraps, but the makers are planning for a worldwide release of the film. Spirit will be released in multiple regional and international languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

Speaking about his 25th project, Prabhas said, “This is my 25th film and there is no better way to celebrate it. Spirit has a great feel in the story and it will be a special film for my fans, too.

"Working with Bhushan Kumar [of T-Series] has always been easy and comforting and he is one of the best producers we have, whom I share great rapport with.

"Sandeep is a dream director for all and now, with Spirit, I have got the chance to associate with such a powerhouse of talent. It's an amazing storyline and I can't wait to start working on Spirit.”

Spirit will be Prabhas's fourth film with T-Series after Saaho (2018), Radhe Shyam (2022) and  Adipurush (2022). On collaborating with Prabhas, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar said, "It’s always a pleasure working with Prabhas. Spirit will be our fourth film and it can't get bigger and better than this.

"This will also be our third project with Sandeep who has already delivered the blockbuster Kabir Singh and is now working on Animal (2022). Spirit will not only be one of our biggest projects, but it will also be a very special one as it's Prabhas' silver jubilee film as well."

Sandeep Reddy, who is currently working on Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, is also excited to finally join hands with Prabhas. "Announcing the 25th film with India's biggest superstar will be the biggest news for his fans throughout the world," the filmmaker said in a statement. "Working with Prabhas-garu will be a great level of excitement and I'm sure the excitement will be doubled once I start to shoot.

"Everything is big about this announcement because Bhushanji is the biggest producer in the country today who is also a very friendly and understanding producer. He is like a brother [to me] too. I'm very happy and comfortable associating with T-Series and my brother Pranay Reddy Vanga of Bhadrakali Pictures for the third time.”

Prabhas is currently shooting for Om Raut's pan-India film Adipurush (2022), which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon. He also has Radhe Shyam (2022) and Nag Ashwin's untitled sci-fi film where he will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone.
