Gippy Grewal’s much anticipated Punjabi movie Snowman (2022), starring Neeru Bajwa opposite the actor-producer, has got a new release date.
Grewal shared the news on Twitter, saying the movie will be in cinemas on 7 January 2022, the date when SS Rajamouli's multi-starrer, multilingual magnum opus RRR is also scheduled to hit the screens worldwide.
Snowman was earlier scheduled to be released in November this year.
Grewal also included the latest poster for the movie in his post. The poster gives a few clues as to what the film is all about.

With a blood-splattered title, one can safely assume that Snowman will be an action thriller set in snowclad mountains. The lower half of the poster shows two armed policemen interrogating the character played by Rana Ranbir. The actor, mostly known for comedy, appears in a very different, intense look in the poster.
Punjabi singer Jazzy B plays a policeman in Snowman, which is written and directed by Ranbir. The movie is produced by Grewal and Aman Khatkar. The cinematography is by Jay Vincent and the music is by Jay K and Bhinda Aujla.
