Punjabi film Bai Ji Kuttange to be released in theatres on 27 May 2022

There’s been a rush to announce Punjabi films of late and the past week has seen a spate of projects whose release dates have been announced. 

Director Smeep Kang has shared the first look poster of his upcoming film Bai Ji Kuttange on Instagram, writing, "Get ready for the first ACTION COMEDY of Punjabi Films!! Film produced by Nirupma and Hadelin De Pontevez (sic)."

The film will be released in theatres on 27 May 2022.

Kang is well known for his films Chakk De Phatte (2008), Carry on Jatta (2012), Carry on Jatta 2 (2018) and Naukar Vahuti Da (2019).

As announced, the film will be an action-comedy and stars Dev Kharoud, Upasana Singh and Gurpreet Ghuggi. The movie will be distributed worldwide by OmJee Star Studios.
