Binnu Dhillon to star in Smeep Kang’s Welcome Bhua Ji

Continuing the trend of announcing one Punjabi film after another, actor Binnu Dhillon’s Welcome Bhua Ji has been announced along with its release date.

To be directed by Smeep Kang, who made the hit films Chak De Phatte (2008), Carry On Jatta (2012), Lucky Di Unlucky Story (2013) and Carry On Jatta 2 (2018), Welcome Bhua Ji will be released in theatres on 2 September 2022.

Producer Munish Sahni shared a poster for the film on Instagram with the news, saying, “Get ready to laugh your hearts out with Welcome Bhua Ji in cinemas on 2nd September 2022.”

The comedy was initially slated to be released in September this year. The story and screenplay are by Vaibhav Shreya while Raju Verma has written the dialogues.
