Starring Binnu Dhillon, Gurnam Bhullar, Jasmin Bajwa and Hobby Dhaliwal, the Punjabi-language film Fuffad Ji has been directed by Pankaj Batra and written by Raju Verma.

In the recently released trailer of the movie, Dhillon plays the titular Fuffadji (uncle) who enjoys a certain status in the family. As the uncle, he is consulted about all important matters, especially weddings and matchmaking, while family members scurry around to take care of his every need. Dhillon’s character certainly loves the attention and takes full advantage of it.

Bhullar is the foil to Dhillon’s character as the two cannot see eye to eye and the former is all set to topple the Fuffadji’s cherished position. Comic disagreements between the two take place as they are locked in a battle of one-upmanship. The performance of the two actors seems to complement each other well.

With witty dialogues adding a punch, the theme of power struggles in the family seems to be quite hilarious in part and is aimed to be a family entertainer.

Produced by K Kumar and Zee Studios, Fuffad Ji will be released on 11 November in theatres.

Check out the trailer and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
