Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar trailer: The late Raj Kaushal's final project revolves around a fake bank set up by desperate youngsters

The late Raj Kaushal's final project, Akkad Bakkad Rafoo Chakkar, created in collaboration with Aman Khan, will arrive on Amazon Prime on 3 November. The director died after suffering a cardiac arrest on 30 June.

The series revolves around a group of youngsters who launch a fake bank in a bid to create one of the biggest scams India has seen. The trailer begins with the decisive moment when the youngsters decide on the idea. In order to make it a reality, they rope in a religious leader (Mohan Agashe) and a film star (Flora Saini), who pull the crowd and get the money flowing. The twist comes when the conmen themselves are caught in the crosshairs of more powerful men, and their own ambitions. What follows is in-fighting, failing health, emotional upheavals, and even a surprise abduction.  

The series stars Vicky Arora and also features Anuj Rampal, Swati Semwal, Mohan Agashe, Shishir Sharma, Manish Chaudhari and Sudhanshu Pandey.

The series will be co-produced by Mandira Bedi, actress and wife of the late Raj Kaushal. Bedi said, "Raj had a crazy passion for his work and when a great idea hit him, there would be a sparkle in his eye and a new spring in his step."

She added, "And he had that look in his eye and that unabating energy all through the writing and making of Akkad Bakkad. His belief and passion is what drove him and it’s there for all to see in the show. It breaks my heart that he is not here with us to see his labour of love reach its natural and successful end. But I am so thankful to Prime Video for seeing the show through and putting out his last piece of work. I hope audiences enjoy it as much as he did making it.”
