Hrithik began filming for the remake earlier this month and posted a short snippet of himself walking to shoot with the background score of Pushkar-Gayathri's film adding a touch of intrigue.

Based on the myth of Vikram and Betaal, the film revolves around a cop and a dreaded gangster involved in a personal revenge drama that raises questions of morality.

This is the actor's first major shoot since his last project, War (2019). The actor is also involved in two major projects, namely Fighter (2021) and Krrish 4 (2022). The former is lined up for release in December 2023 while an announcement about the latter is expected to be made sometime this year.
