Actor Swwapnil Joshi, who had announced the launch of his own national over-the-top (OTT) platform in partnership with producer-entrepreneur Narendra Firodia, has begun shooting for his first production venture for the new platform.

The actor shared the news on Instagram.

The project, helmed by Mandar Kulkarni, will mark popular Marathi actor Bharat Jadhav's foray into the digital space. The project has been written by Amit Khatal.

All other details about the project, such as whether it's a web-series or a film, have been kept under wraps.

Having done television and films for years now, Joshi announced his own OTT platform in August this year. The actor had made his digital debut in MX Player's Samantar (2020) last year. The second season of the series was released earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Joshi is due to be seen next in the Marathi horror film Bali (2021), directed by Vishal Furia.
