The actor shared new posters of himself as Shiva. In the first poster, he grabs onto the hand of a man, while in the other, a young boy is sitting on the ground with a backpack.

Akshay asked for blessings as the team embarked on the shooting schedule. The posters bear the tagline 'Rakh Vishwas, Tu Shiv Ka Das'.
Adapted from the Gujarati play Kanji Virudh Kanji, written by Saumya Joshi, OMG: Oh My God starred Paresh Rawal as a man who files a case against God to compensate for the damages that occurred to his shop during an earthquake. Akshay played Krishna in the film directed by Umesh Shukla.
The sequel is co-produced by Akshay’s Cape of Good Film, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl and Ashwin Varde. According to an online news report in India Today, the team are on a 17-day schedule in Ujjain and are expected to shoot at the Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple, Ram Ghat, Kaal Bhairav temple and Tower Chowk in Ujjain.
Akshay, who has the long-delayed Sooryavanshi (2021) due for release on Diwali, will also be seen in the films Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Rakshabandhan and Atrangi Re next year. He is also working in Ram Setu, Gorkha and an untitled thriller with Bell Bottom director Ranjit M Tewari.
