The Marathi suspense drama Alipt, staring Tanvi Hegde, will arrive in theatres on 29 October.

The film, which has been directed by Manoj Yerunkar, is being backed by Cutting Chai Productions and Sanju Entertainment.

Swapnil Jadhav has not only written the story, screenplay and dialogues but also stars alongside Hegde.

Speaking about the film, the actress said, "I have experienced various emotions while playing different characters and hence there was no reason at all why I would not accept a different role like in Alipt. Right now, it is too early for me to reveal what my character is in the film but all that I say is that there was great satisfaction in getting an opportunity to work with a very caring as well as professional unit. As the title of the film reveals, the past takes birth once again is a very vital tag and is in alignment with the plot of the film. It was a great and happy experience that I had while working with Swapnil and the other artistes in the film (sic)."

The film features Sharayu Sonawane, Bhushan Ghadi, Sunil Dev and Sushant Shelar. Aniket Karanjkar has shot the film while both Swapnil and Janmejay have written the songs for it. The music for Alipt has been composed by Rajesh Sawant.
