The upcoming remake of the popular French series Dix Pour Cent stars Aahana Kumra, Ayush Mehra, Rajat Kapoor and Soni Razdan as talent agents who handle busy stars’ lives and careers.

The Netflix show Call My Agent: Bollywood, written by Abbas and Hussein Dalal and directed by Shaad Ali, focuses on these professionals as they regroup to save their company after the death of their founder.

Kumra, last seen in the Eros Now film Bawri Chhori (2021), and Mehra, whose previous project was the web-series Operation MBBS, play the younger agents Amal Ahmed and Mehershaad Sodawala respectively.

Working together for the first time, the two artistes bonded naturally on set. Kumra recalled, "Ayush and I had never met before Call My Agent, but when we met on set, we just clicked instantly. It just made work even more fun. Through the entire journey of Call My Agent, all of us built a friendship like no other - but me and Ayush (sic) are like Mehershaad and Amal in real life. We would pull each other’s legs, laugh a lot, eat a lot and just be goofy together. It didn’t even feel like we had to put on an act on screen, it just came so naturally."

Talking about working with Kumra, Mehra said, "Aahana is an absolute riot. She is just as, if not more energetic than Amal. I love that we’re such good friends because there is never a dull moment around her. It was so easy to do scenes with her, the banter just flowed naturally. It was super easy to mimic our friendship on-screen. I’m glad we were cast for these roles and I hope audiences enjoy our chemistry as much as we enjoyed portraying it."
