The film’s grand total currently stands at an impressive Rs10.30 crore. Its collections in the second week starting on Friday will give clarity as to whether it will reach the Rs20 crore mark.
Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Honsla Rakh also stars Sonam Bajwa and Shehnaaz Gill.
Honsla Rakh has also fared well in the overseas market, making $ 1.35 million in the first four days worldwide. As per the international publication Deadline.com, the movie made $706,000 in the first three days in the US itself.
Friday, 22 October, will see the reopening of Maharashtra's theatres, which have been shut since April this year due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The Pratik Gandhi-starrer Bhavai is the first movie to be released in the state on that day.
