Punjabi actor Hardeep Grewal, who made his acting debut in the recently released movie Tunka Tunka (2021), has announced his next project on Instagram.
He wrote, "SWAT Punjab will be the title of our next movie after Tunka Tunka. We did our best in the past and will do so again and promise u all that we will not disappoint you. Keep supporting (sic)."
SWAT stands for special weapons and tactics team and the term is widely used in the United States of America, where it indicates a law enforcement unit within the police department. It remains to be seen how this will be seen in the context of Punjab, as the title suggests.
SWAT Punjab has been written and produced by Grewal and the movie will be directed by Garry Khatrao. The helmer had also made his feature film debut with Tunka Tunka. A story about a cycling champion who fights hard for his dreams and faces insurmountable odds, Tunka Tunka was appreciated widely by the audiences.
