Arjun Kapoor announces next film The Lady Killer


Helmed by Section 375 (2019) director Ajay Bahl, the love story will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh.

Arjun Kapoor has announced his new film The Lady Killer, which is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh.

Kapoor, who was last seen in Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez, shared the poster of the project on social media on Monday, writing, "Isme Thrill hai. Romance Hai. Emotion Hai. Suspense Hai !!! Presenting to you, The Lady Killer. A thrilling, nerve-racking love story & my most ambitious film yet. Thank you my director Ajay Bahl for your belief in me (sic)."

The thriller, helmed by Section 375 (2019) director Ajay Bahl, will revolve around a small town playboy who falls in love with a self-destructive beauty and they embark on a whirlwind romance.

Commenting on the film, Kapoor said, "When the script of The Lady Killer came my way, I was hooked! It was gripping, intriguing and emotionally charged. I couldn’t put the script down from the moment I started reading it. I am very excited to be a part of this journey with my amazing producers, Bhushan sir, Shaailesh sir, and of course my director Ajay Bahl sir. I can't wait to begin prep for my role. It's going to be my most challenging role yet but I’m excited!"

Apart from The Lady Killer, Kapoor has two more films in the pipeline — Aasmaan Bhardwaj's Kuttey, where he will be paired with Radhika Madan, and Mohit Suri's Ek Villain Returns.
