Director Sameer Asha Patil’s Darling is the latest Marathi film whose theatrical release date has been announced. The film, which stars Prathamesh Parab, Ritika Shrotri and Nikhil Chavan, will be hitting the screens on 10 December.
The news was shared by veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter. He also shared the poster of the film.
The trailer of Daling was released in December 2020 and the film was supposed to be released on Republic Day 2021. But this was not to be because of the arrival of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent shutting down of theatres.

Going by the trailer of Darling, the film centres on a comic love triangle in a village in Maharashtra. The story revolves around the characters played by Parab, Shrotri and Chavan with both the guys wanting to win the young woman’s heart.
Two of Patil's films, Yuntum and Wagherya, were released in 2018.
Parab has appeared in a series of comedy films in recent times.
