Tabbar trailer: Pavan Malhotra's character seeks to protect his family at all costs

The trailer of Ajitpal Singh's film Tabbar appears gripping. The film, featuring Pavan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak, Gagan Arora and Ranvir Shorey, will be streamed on SonyLIV from 15 October. 

The trailer is centred on the family of a retired police constable (Pavan Malhotra), whose younger son (Gagan Arora) is preparing for the IPS exam. Things go awry when he returns to his hometown, leading to the murder of Maheep Sodhi, the brother of the brooding Ajit Sodhi (Ranvir Shorey). What follows is the descent into chaos for the family, with Malhotra's character's father trying to pay the price of keeping it all together. 

The trailer has been cut dramatically and induces curiosity. Written by Harman Wadala and Sandeep Jain, the series is backed by JAR Pictures. 

The music by Sneha Khanwalkar lands a punch in the trailer.
