Ammy Virk’s latest single ‘Dabde Ni’: The actor-singer oozes machismo in this melodic number

The latest song from Punjabi singer-actor Ammy Virk, ‘Dabde Ni’ describes the toughness of a Jatt who does not cower, no matter what the obstacles. The lyrics and composition are by Mani Longia while the music is by Starboy X.

The actor-singer shared a clip of the song on Instagram with fans and hoped they would like his latest single. He wrote, in translation, “Greetings, everyone. My latest song 'Dabde Ni' has been released. I hope you like it. To watch the full song, click the link in the bio.”

The song video, directed by Mahi Sandhu and Joban Sandhu, has been shot amidst Land Rovers, Jeeps, horses, tractors and wrestlers. Virk summons up his no-nonsense look as he struts around with a bossy demeanour, underlining the toughness of a Punjabi man, which is the theme of the melodic song.

Oozing machismo and the idea of a Punjabi Jatt, Virk is seen in traditional attire, doing the bhangra, beating up people when needed, and enjoying his drink, while the background is mostly that of an akhara, the traditional training ground for wrestlers.
