In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, Vijay Sethupathi's aide was kicked in the back by a man at the Bengaluru airport on Tuesday night.
As per a report by the website Silverscreen India, the man, who was in an inebriated state, had requested a selfie with Vijay but was turned down by his assistant.
As per the report, the aide shoved the bystander while clearing the way for the actor. Enraged, the man kicked the startled aide. Security personnel then quickly surrounded the actor and took him to the side.

“When actor Vijay Sethupathi’s personal assistant pushed a person to make way for the actor, in rage, the person kicked him from behind. There was an altercation but no case was registered,” a police officer was quoted in a report by the Indian Express newspaper.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in the Tamil films Laabam, Tughlaq Durbar and Annabelle Sethupathi.
He’s currently busy shooting for the Tamil film Vikram alongside Kamal Haasan. He is also awaiting the release of the Tamil romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which also stars Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni.
Vijay also has a yet-untitled web series with the creators of Family Man, Raj and DK. The show also stars Shahid Kapoor and Raashi Khanna.
