Ankush Chaudhari and Prajakta Mali's Luckdown set for release on 28 January 2022

Ankush Chaudhari and Prajakta Mali's upcoming romantic comedy Luckdown is set to be released on 28 January 2022.

Mali took to Instagram to share the release date of the film with a title poster.

The poster shows cartoons of a bride and groom in typical wedding attire, but the thing that immediately catches your attention is that they are wearing masks.

The film is directed by Santosh Manjrekar, who had helmed the superhit Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy (2009).

This is the first time Chaudhari and Mali have been cast together in a film. Speaking of the experience of shooting with Chaudhari, the actress said, "It was nice. After working with such a senior actor, I realized he is so passionate. He is also very focused. He has vast experience in films. And that experience is seen in his work."

The film went on the floors in December last year and the shooting was completed earlier this year. If the release date doesn't get pushed back further, this will be Mali's third release in two months. Pandu (2021), in which she features, is scheduled to be released on 3 December while the historical film Pawankhind (2021), is set for release on new year's eve.
