Gautham Menon confirms he’s not part of Tamil film Anbuselvan

Filmmaker and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon took to Twitter on Wednesday to clarify that he is not part of a movie titled Anbuselvan.

Replying to a tweet by filmmaker Pa Ranjith, who released the poster of the movie, Gautham said that he was shocked to learn that such a film was being made.

Anbuselvan will be directed by A Vinoth Kumar. Going by the poster, it looks like Gautham will play the lead role. 

Following Gautham’s tweet, Pa Ranjith deleted the announcement poster tweet.

Replying to Pa Ranjith tweet on the film’s poster, Gautham wrote: “This is shocking & news to me. I have no idea what this film is that I’m supposed to be acting in. I don’t know or haven’t met the director whose name is on this poster. Producer has got big names to tweet this. It’s shocking & scary that something like this can be done so easily (sic).” 

Gautham, who was recently seen playing a key role in the Tamil film Rudhra Thandavam, is currently busy wrapping up the STR-starrer Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
