Last week, Adarsh Gourav was named as part of the cast of the Apple TV+ anthology series Extrapolation, joining Hollywood stars Meryl Streep, Kit Harrington and Sienna Miller. The actor has since flown to New York to shoot for his scenes with the international cast.

Artistes Forest Whitaker, Marion Cotillard, Tobey Maguire and Eiza Gonzalez were also added to the series being helmed by Scott Z Burns. The show, dealing with global stories of climate change through eight interconnected episodes, focuses on themes of “love, faith, work and family on a personal and human scale”.

Gourav shared an image of himself on the sets of the show, his second international project after the critically acclaimed Netflix film The White Tiger (2021). Actor Waris Ahluwalia can also be seen in the frame with him.

Sharing an update mentioning what he’s been up to, Gourav said, "We've been shooting in New York, both indoors and outdoors. I am in awe of my co-stars and learning every day. I have to pinch myself sometimes to believe I made it to this project."

Gourav reportedly plays a driver for hire named Gaurav.

“All I can say is that I am extremely fortunate to have landed the part and I am giving it my all,” he added. “It's not every day that a project as massive as this comes your way. Now that it has, I am sparing no opportunity to prove my mettle. I want to be as good as I can be; the best version of myself in this role."

The young actor, who was last seen in the second season of the Amazon Prime series Hostel Daze, is also part of the Hindi film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
