Popular television actor Nitish Chavan to make his feature film debut in Soyrik

Actor  Nitish Chavan, who rose to fame with the popular Marathi television show Lagira Zhala Jee, is set to make his feature film debut in the upcoming Marathi movie Soyrik.

Helmed by Makarand Mane, the film will be released in theatres on 14 January 2022. 

Mane announced the release date while sharing the first motion poster of the film on Instagram. The features Chavan and a woman with her back turned towards the camera. The makers are yet to reveal the name of the actress.

Soyrik is Chavan's first feature film and the actor is excited to be part of this project. "This is a very different subject and I'm happy that I got the opportunity to work with well-known actors because of this film. Director Makrand Mane has always dealt with different topics. In Soyrik too he will explore the different meaning of relationships," he said.

Soyrik is a second project backed by Bahurupi Productions, which was founded by Mane and actors Shantanu Gangane and Shashank Shende. Apart from Soyrik, Mane also has two more films ready for release: his yet-to-be titled maiden Hindi directorial venture and the Marathi coming-of-age drama Porga Majetay.
