Kamal Haasan has pre-birthday bash on sets of Vikram, see pics

Actor Kamal Haasan celebrated his birthday a week in advance on the sets of his upcoming Tamil film Vikram on Monday. A surprise pre-birthday bash was organized by the film’s team in the presence of director Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Fahadh Faasil. Pictures of the event have surfaced on social media.

In the pictures, Kamal, who will turn 67 on 7 November, can be seen cutting the cake while being surrounded by the cast and crew members of the movie. 

Vikram marks the maiden collaboration between Kamal and Lokesh. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh as the antagonists. 

Tipped to be an action film, the film reportedly sees Kamal play an agent. 

Meanwhile, Kamal recently confirmed that he’s writing a script for Maalik (2021) director Mahesh Narayanan.

There are also reports Kamal will soon commence work on Papanasam 2, the sequel to the Tamil remake of Drishyam. The project will be helmed by Jeethu Joseph.
