SS Rajamouli unveils new single from RRR, calls it heart and soul of movie

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli on Friday took to Twitter to release the latest single from his upcoming magnum opus RRR.

He revealed that the single, which is titled 'Janani' in Telugu and 'Uyire' in Tamil, is the heart and soul of the movie.

Composed by MM Keeravani, the song taps into the emotional core of the movie, and the visuals give a glimpse into the emotional side of the lead characters. 

The song features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran among other key artistes. 

In RRR, Jr NTR shares screen space with Ram Charan for the first time. The film is a fictional story set in the 1920s and it will be based on the lives of two renowned revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. 

Earlier this year, the makers released a two-minute behind-the-scenes video.
