Veteran actor Anupam Kher has announced that his 522nd film will be a Tamil project titled Connect.
Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, it’s a horror movie, which also stars Nayanthara and Sathyaraj. The film has been produced by Nayanthara’s banner Rowdy Pictures.
Kher shared posters of the movie on social media along with a behind-the-scenes image on Wednesday. He tweeted, “My 522nd film is a Tamil film! Thank you dearest Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, Ashwin Saravanan and everybody at the Rowdy Pictures for your love and appreciation. I loved being part of the film Connect and working with such a talented team. See you in the theatres! Jai Ho!! (sic)"

The first poster features Kher’s character. One look at his image is enough to realize that he is playing a Roman Catholic priest. The book kept in front of him appears to be the Holy Bible. The old-world charm is also quite evident from the picture.
On the other hand, the second poster features Nayanthara dressed in simple clothes inside a house. She appears to be fixing something on the wall.
Kher has acted in a few Tamil films before. His first such film was VIP (1997), which also starred Prabhu Deva, Abbas and Simran.
