Rohan Mehra, son of the late actor Vinod Mehra, made his acting debut in Baazaar (2018), which also starred Saif Ali Khan, Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte. The film deals with financial fraud and is set against the backdrop of the Mumbai stock market.
Mehra’s next movie, titled 420 IPC, is also based on economic offences. Directed by Manish Gupta, the film will be released on the streaming platform Zee 5 on 17 December.
The news about this film was first broken by Cinestaan, and it will feature Ranvir Shorey along with Vinay Pathak, Gul Panag and Arif Zakaria.
The poster of the film, which is just out, depicts a coin. The film's tagline reads: Every coin has two sides. As per a tweet by Gupta, 420 IPC “is a suspense film about an economic offences case.”

Coincidentally, the title of Gupta’s last film as a writer is Section 375 (2019). He has to his credit acclaimed films like The Stoneman Murders (2009) and Rahasya (2015), which is based on the infamous Aarushi Talwar murder case. Gupta is also known for being the screenwriter of Ram Gopal Varma’s iconic Sarkar (2005).
