Bangarraju teaser: Naga Chaitanya seems to play colourful character

The teaser of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming Telugu film Bangarraju sees the actor in a highly colourful role which appears to be unlike anything he’s played so far.

The teaser was unveiled on Tuesday to coincide with the actor’s birthday. Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna took to Twitter on Tuesday to release the clip.

The teaser introduces Chaitanya as Chinna Bangarraju whose father is played by Nagarjuna. The film brings together the father and son on screen after a gap of five years. 

Nagarjuna made a cameo in Chaitanya’s Telugu romantic drama Premam (2016).

Bangarraju is the sequel to the 2016 Telugu blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana. Ramya Krishnan will be seen as Bangarraju’s wife Satyabhama. 

The film, which is set to be released next year, features Krithi Shetty, Chalapathi Rao, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore and Jhansi.
