Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor to team up again for Dharma Productions' Mr & Mrs Mahi

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, who shared screen space in the horror-comedy Roohi (2021), are set to team up once again for Dharma Productions' upcoming drama Mr & Mrs Mahi. The film will hit theatres on 7 October 2022.

The production house announced the project by unveiling the motion poster of the film. According to the poster, which depicts a cricket ball, Rao and Kapoor's characters' names are Mahendra and Mahima, also features audio of them saying "Kabhi Kabhi ek sapna pura karne ke liye do logo ki jarurat padti hai (Sometimes, it takes two people to make a dream come true)."

Popular Indian cricket commentator Jatin Sapru is also heard in the motion poster, which makes it pretty clear that the film is about the sport. 

Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film will mark the second collaboration between the director and Kapoor after Gunjan Saxena (2020).

After 83, Jersey and Shabash Mithu, Mr & Mrs Mahi is another addition to the evergrowing list of Hindi films based on cricket.
