Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, to be released on 29 July 2022

The makers of the Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Thank God have revealed that their film will be released in theatres on 29 July 2022.

The movie is Indra Kumar’s latest directorial venture after the successful multi-starrer Total Dhamaal (2019), which also starred Devgn. 

The film, which went on floors in January this year, is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah. 

Thank God marks the first time that Malhotra will be seen playing the role of a police inspector. He has played a soldier twice before, in Aiyaary (2018) and Shershaah (2021). In the former project, he was cast opposite Singh. The actress has also worked with Devgn in De De Pyaar De (2019). 

When the upcoming film was announced earlier this year, Bhushan Kumar said, “Thank God is a very interesting and entertaining script. Indra Kumar’s films are hardcore commercial laughter riots and it is a pleasure to collaborate with him and Ashok ji on this one. I have worked with Ajay sir and he aces this genre while Sidharth and Rakul will show their fans something new with Thank God.”
