The lacklustre two-minute track contains as many gunshots as a full-length feature film.
Antim song ‘Koi Toh Aayega’: A boring paean to Salman Khan

Pravin Tarde’s Marathi movie Mulshi Pattern (2018) saw Om Bhutkar play the lead role of a gangster while Upendra Limaye played the cop. But the trailer of Antim: The Final Truth, the Hindi remake of the film, indicated that the cop, played by Salman Khan, has a much bigger role in the film than the gangster (Aayush Sharma).
Now, if this wasn’t enough, the makers have released a song called ‘Koi Toh Aayega’ which is completely dedicated to Khan’s Sikh policeman character.
The visuals of the song see Khan either bashing up baddies or gunning them down in cold blood. This gets old really fast despite the runtime of the song being only about two minutes. In fact, the song contains as many gunshots as a full-length feature film.
The audio is equally uninspired. Ravi Basrur and Shabbir Ahmed’s lyrics have no noteworthy elements. One wonders why did two lyricists were required. The song also features a chorus of 14 singers. Basrur’s music resembles something one would hear during a Ganesh visarjan [immersion].
Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, Antim is set to be released in theatres on 26 November.
Check out the song and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
