Luv Ranjan’s untitled next, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has been pushed back to Republic Day 2023.
The film, which also stars Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor, will clash with Siddharth Anand’s Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead.
Luv Ranjan’s banner, Luv Films, announced the delay today. Earlier, the feature was due to be released on the Holi weekend, 18 March 2022.

Luv Ranjan hasn't directed a feature film since Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar. He produced the films Jai Mummy Di (2020), Malang (2020) and Chhalaang (2020).
Not much is known about this project, which is the filmmaker’s first collaboration with Ranbir and Shraddha. Boney Kapoor is said to play Ranbir’s father in the film.
Ranbir has the films Shamshera (2022) and the long-delayed fantasy film Brahmastra in the wings. Shraddha was last seen in the theatrical release Baaghi 3 (2020).
The untitled feature is co-produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg's Luv Films and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.
