Dharma Productions has announced its first action thriller franchise, Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra.
The first film of the series will be released in theatres on 11 November 2022.
The film will mark Malhotra's second collaboration with the production house this year, following the successful Shershaah (2021). The new teaser of Yodha shows the actor bruised and bloodied. The teaser opens with the call of 'Mayday' from a pilot while a hijack situation unfolds on the plane. One man, Malhotra, however, plans to foil the bid.

The film franchise will have more than one leading lady. The announcements are expected to be made within the week.
The film will be directed by new names, Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The duo was on of the 14-name list that Dharma Productions announced earlier this year naming its new slate of directors.
Malhotra has also signed on for the Ajay Devgn-Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Thank God, which will see him play a cop. The actor is also part of Shantanu Bagchi's espionage thriller Mission Majnu alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
