Shahid Kapoor's film Bull will be released on 7 April 2023 and will go on floors next year.
The film is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series in collaboration with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta of Guilty By Association
Helmed by first-time director Aditya Nimbalkar, Bull will see Kapoor playing the role of a paratrooper, Brigadier Bulsara. The film is set in the 1980s and is inspired by real-life events that took place in the life of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who was in charge of 'Operation Cactus' in the Maldives. During that time, the Indian Armed Forces helped the Maldivian army to take control of the country.
Speaking about the film, T-Series managing director Kumar said, "Bull is an ambitious project and one the biggest action movies coming out of the T-Series stable. We continue to reassure audience's long-standing romance (sic) with the silver screen with this release. It is a Shahid Kapoor film tailor-made to be viewed at your nearest theatre."
Meanwhile, Kapoor will next be seen in a sports drama titled Jersey. The movie, which is a remake of a Telugu movie of the same title, is scheduled to be released in theatres on 31 December this year.
