R Madhavan, Khushali Kumar's thriller titled Dhokha

Khushali Kumar, sister of T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar, has wrapped up the shooting for her debut film, Dhokha.

Directed by Kookie Gulati, the suspense thriller was announced back in January and features an ensemble cast led by R Madhavan, Aparshakti Khurrana and Darshan Kumaar. The film is scheduled to be released in 2022. 

The makers took to social media to reveal the title of the film along with its first poster. The poster is dominated by the presence of bullet casings which lend an ominous touch. 

While Khushali Kumar's maiden acting venture was announced back in 2019, the film only went on the floors in January this year.

The film was initially to be helmed by Ashwin Neal Mani, but he dropped out of the project for Gulati to step in. The filmmaker is also working on another thriller with Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, titled Visfot. 

R Madhavan will soon be seen alongside Surveen Chawla in the drama Decoupled. Directed by Hardik Mehta, the series will be streamed on Netflix from 17 December.
