Rajkummar Rao gets married to his ‘everything’ Patralekhaa

Artistes Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot in Chandigarh on Monday. The couple broke the news on Instagram. 

The picture shared by Rao sees Patralekha and him dressed to the nines for their big day, which was attended by their families and close friends. In one picture, the actor is seen applying sindoor on the actress’s forehead. The two have been in a relationship for 11 years, from the time Rao was a struggling newcomer in Hindi cinema and was known as Rajkumar Yadav. 

Rao captioned the image, “Finally, after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today; my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband Patralekhaa. Here’s to forever .. and beyond.”

The wedding took place at the Oberoi Sukhvilas Resort. The couple was wearing outfits by Sabyasachi. The ceremony was attended by the likes of Farah Khan and Saqib Saleem. 

Rao and Patralekhaa have worked together in the film Citylights (2014) and the web-series Bose: Dead/ Alive (2017).

Patralekhaa put up more pictures of the opulent wedding and wrote, “I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate...My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever...” 

On the work front, Rao was recently seen in the movie Hum Do Hamare Do (2021) while Patralekhaa’s last outing was the web-series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu, which was released earlier this year.
