Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee shared images of his Aay Khuku Aay co-star Ditipriya Roy and himself in character on Twitter today.
Directed by Souvik Kundu and produced by actor turned producer Jeet Madnani’s Jeetz Filmworks, the film will see Chatterjee play Roy’s father.

Aay Khuku Aay will feature Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Rahul Deb Bose, Sohini Sengupta, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Sankar Debnath and Satyam Bhattacharya.
The photos present Chatterjee as a lungi-clad middle-aged man with a receding hairline. Roy’s simple salwar kameez suggests that the story is about the bond between a father and daughter. In another photo, the duo can be seen embracing each other.
“For the first time, I am sharing screen space with an actor of the stature of Prosenjit Chatterjee, and I am super excited for that,” Roy told a news portal.
“I feel this film will give me a huge break on the big screen. I will start shooting with him as soon as I get done with my web projects. Recently, I have worked with some important people, one after the other, and I feel quite overwhelmed,” she added.
Roy earned fame with her portrayal of Rani Rashmoni in the popular television series Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni. Some of her anticipated projects are Subhrajit Mitra’s Avijatrik, the Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Bob Biswas and Pavel’s Kolkata Chalontika.
