Suyash Tilak, Mitali Mayekar's Hashtag Prem to be released on 17 December

The Suyash Tilak and Mitali Mayekar film Hashtag Prem will arrive in theatres on 17 December 2021.
The film, helmed by first-time director Rajesh Jadhav, was earlier scheduled to be released on 19 March, but the makers had to postpone the release because of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
Written by Nikhil Katare, Hashtag Prem tells the story of two strangers who are compelled to travel together. Mayekar plays a young woman who is on her way to Goa but gets stranded when her car gets stolen. When things are looking bleak, she gets a lift from an unsophisticated guy (Tilak).
The film's release is sandwiched between the two anticipated Hindi films, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which is arriving in theatres on 10 December, and 83 which will hit the screens on 25 December. Considering this, it will be a tough task for Hashtag Prem to make its mark on the box office and attract an audience.
Hashtag Prem has been produced by Anil Govind Patil under the banner of Mauli Film Productions. Sameer Dixit and Rishikesh Bhirangi will distribute the film via their banner Pickle Entertainment.
