Actor Rajinikanth’s latest Tamil film Annaatthe, which was released worldwide in cinemas for Diwali, has managed to mint over Rs200 crore nett at the box office despite garnering largely negative reviews.

As per trade analyst Manobala Vijayan, Annaatthe — the biggest film to be released after the second wave of coronavirus pandemic — has grossed Rs217.63 crore.
