Akash Goila's maiden feature film Delivered based on single mother's journey

Director Akash Goila has announced his maiden feature film, Delivered, starring Paribhasha Mishra and Vishal Singh.

The film tells the story of a single mother who experiences hardship and faces pressure and judgment.

Goila said the film will not only portray the challenges that single mothers face but also embrace a modern and different take on motherhood. "We have a young and fabulous cast and crew. I am very excited and can't wait for the audience to share the love," the filmmaker said.

Although this is Goila's first feature film, he has made a short titled Bedhab (2019) starring Sanjay Kapoor. It is being streamed on YouTube and Disney+ Hotstar.

Singh said that he loved the story when he heard it for the first time. "I'm very happy to work in Akash Goila’s Delivered. I have always admired Akash's directory and his screenplay," said the actor.

Mishra, who is also making her acting debut in Delivered, said that she resonated with the concept of the film. "I myself often think about becoming a single mother. I believe in stories and films that are inspiring. Being a part of Delivered, which embraces the unique journey of a single mother, is a dream come true," she said.

Produced by Filmeraa, the film is scheduled to be released in 2022.
