Vivek Oberoi roped in to play antagonist in Prithviraj Sukumaran's Kaduva


Interestingly, the Krrish 3 (2013) actor had worked with the Malayalam star in the latter’s directorial debut Lucifer (2019).

Vivek Oberoi, who starred in Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial debut Lucifer (2019), has been roped in to play the antagonist in the Malayalam star's upcoming project Kaduva. Directed by Shaji Kailas, the film is an action thriller. 

Oberoi had recently joined the sets of Kaduva and has shared his excitement about working in the project. Sharing a picture from the set, he wrote, “The hunter has arrived! Be careful."

The team of Kaduva also shared a video of Oberoi arriving on the sets of the film on day one.

The second shooting schedule of Kaduva had begun on 24 October. The film had gone on floors in April this year, but the shoot had to be stopped due to the second wave of coronavirus. 

The film has been scripted by Jinu Abraham who has earlier directed Prithviraj Sukumaran in Adam Joan (2017)

Samyuktha Menon, Arjun Ashokan, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Seema, Dileesh Pothan, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Sudev Nair, Rahul Madhav, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Priyanka Nair are also part of the cast.

Kaduva is being jointly produced by Listin Stephen and Supriya Menon under the banners of Maic Frames and Prithviraj Sukumaran Productions.
